2021 Festival Overview
The 2021 festival saw 2000 people explore the AGL Night Light installation between the 13-20 November. The light show featured an increased footprint showcasing the central and northern ends of the Morwell Centenary Rose Garden with roving performers entertaining visitors of all ages during some wet and windy weather conditions.
Lantern and paper rose making workshops were held at the Latrobe Regional Gallery and Morwell Library on the weekends and a cut rose competition was on display in Morwell CBD for everyone to enjoy. It was great to see the community return to the rose garden post COVID lockdowns with many looking forward to 2022 when the festival can be held in its original format.
