Information about the 2020 Festival
The 2020 festival was a hybrid style event which encompassed a light installation in the rose garden and an online virtual event live broadcast on the 14th and 15th November 2020.
The virtual event featured many of the previous festival's elements you know and love such as talks, workshops, stall holders and children's entertainment however, the new and exciting element of the virtual experience was that it was interactive for viewers. Locals were able to engage with the presenters, post questions, take part in polls, live chats and workshops all from the comfort and safety of their home, anywhere in the world.
The AGL Night Light installation ran over two nights for locals to explore or drive by and showcased the top half of the rose garden. Over 1500 people explored the garden under lights which featured colored LED's, fairy lights, projection and even disco balls!
